[vsnet-alert 9752] XZ Eri superoutburst

Dear colleagues,

I performed time-series photometry of the object last night.
My data show superhumps with an amplitude of 0.2 mag and a shallow
eclipse with a depth of 0.2 mag. The current outburst is a superoutburst.

According to Uemura et al. 2004, PASJ, 56, 141, XZ Eri shows a peculiar
superhump period change during an early phase of the superoutburst.
Further observations (after V455 And / before OT J0807) are encouraged.
