Your coordinates are not precise enough to exclude
USNO-A2.0 0525-13881730  11 12 19.811 -35 38 42.37  R=13
in my mind (RA, for example, has at least 15arcsec error in the
report above).  Can you improve the coordinates?  This area
of the sky is not in the galactic plane (about lon 281 and
lat +23), so novae are not common.
