Nakajima-san succeeded in obtaining time-resolve photometry
of QZ Vir (=T Leo) on Jan. 4. The data clearly showed superhumps.
The outburst is confirmed to be a superoutburst.
However, the mean magnitude on Jan. 4 was only V=11.1, a bit
faint for a typical superoutburst. The magnitude was also
significantly fainter than Stubbing's report, which may not be
in severe disagreement depending on comparison stars.

The question is whether the true maximum of the outburst
could have been overlooked, or whether we are observing an
unusual state (such as a precursor) before the object undergoes
full brightening. If the case is the latter, the present outburst
could provide an excellent opportunity to follow development of
superhumps during such an unusual stage.
