Fujii-san reported the following spectrum of Nova Cyg 2008. http://www1.harenet.ne.jp/~aikow/etc/nova_cyg_20080308.gif The Balmer and Fe II lines showed P Cyg profile. The absorption component of the Halpha line had a blue shift of ~900 km/s. The spectrum is typical for a classical nova just before the optical maximum.
