Dear colleagues,

Based on my V-filtered CCD observations of ASASSN-20ga, obtained at CBA Extremadura Observatory using a 0.40-m f/5.1 telescope and SX-46 CCD camera, it seems that this nova meanwhile has passed it's peak brightness, and has now started to (rapidly) fade. Looking at observations submitted to the AAVSO international database, peak brightness occurred around June 16th at V = 12.6. Some of my recent data points:

June 15.04 UT, V = 13.10
June 17.04 UT, V = 12.76
June 18.03 UT, V = 13.76

Continued observations are recommended.

Best regards
Tonny
