Could that short outburst (2021 March 31 - April 2)
have been a (short = normal) precursor outburst?

Confirmation of the possible rebrightening is required.

Clear skies,
Patrick

 ASASSN-21eo: AM CVn star candidate?

Kyoto Univ. Obs., Sano-san, and Itoh-san have reported the observation of
ASASSN-21eo (= TCP J06161010+1243200). This outburst was detected on 31st
March by ASAS-SN at 13.8 mag (see vsnet-alert 25620, 25625). The quiescence
counterpart is ~21 mag in ZTF DR5 data, therefore the outburst amplitude is
~7 mag.
This object has already faded by ~2 mag in 2 days, suggesting ASASSN-21eo
can be an AM CVn star, or less likely double superoutburst WZ Sge-type
dwarf nova.

Daily snapshots are highly recommended to catch the onset of its second
superoutburst.
