EG Aqr: Humps just above the quiescence

We observed EG Aqr, rapidly faded from the superoutburst
last week, with the High-Speed CCD Camera attached to the KANATA
1.5m telescope at Higashi-Hiroshima Observatory on Nov. 24.

The object was already faint at Rc=18.3-17.9, about 1 mag
brighter than its quiescence. Our observation covers an orbital
period, in which large humps were detected. The hump profile
apparantly has double peaks with amplitudes of 0.3-0.4 mag.
The nature of those humps is unclear, but an orbital hump,
superhump, and late superhump may be mixed.
The light curve can be seen at:

While the object is faint now, the large humps may be
detectable with 30-50cm class telescopes. Close monitoring
is still required for those humps and also for possible
rebrightening in near future.
