J. Shears detected an outburst of an SU UMa-type dwarf nova,
V701 Tau on Dec 6 at 15.1C mag. The outburst was soon confirmed by
G. Poyner (vsnet-alert 8770).
(old targets)
Nova LMC 2005 (RA = 05h10m33s.79, Dec = -69d12'35".2)
W. Liller reported a brightening of this nova (11.96mag on Dec 4;
vsnet-alert 8768). The brightening was soon confirmed by images
taken by W. Liller (Dec 5 & 6) and F. Carvalho (Dec 4)
(vsnet-alert 8769, 8770, 8771). The nova still remains at the
brigh state (vsnet-alert 8772, 8774).
TSS J022216.4+412260 (RA = 02h22m16s.4, Dec = +41d22'59".9)
K. Kubota reported that the superoutburst of this new SU UMa
star was terminated by a rapid fading on Dec 1. They detected
superhumps on Nov. 27 and 29, just before the fading (vsnet-alert
8766). On Dec 6, K. Kubota reported that the object rebrightened to
17-18 mag. The object is still active (vsnet-alert 8767).
TT Ari (RA = 02h06m53s.09, Dec = +15d17'43".)0
H. Maehara reported a brightening of TT Ari from Nov 26 to Dec 3.
This may suggest a recovery from the current fading
(vsnet-campaign-nl 178).
