EF Eri (RA = 03h14m13s.0, Dec = -22d35'41")
R. Stubbings detected a brightening of EF Eri (15.6mag on Mar 4).
The object was fainter than 15.7mag on Mar 3 (vsnet-alert 8873).
B. Monard reported 14.2CR mag on Mar 5, which confirmed the activity
(vsnet-alert 8877).
SDSS J080434.20+510349.2 (RA = 08h04m34s.20, Dec = +51d03'49".2)
D. Nogami forwarded the report that E. Pavlenko found an outburst of
SDSS J080434.20+510349.2 at around 14mag on Mar 4. This object was discovered
in the SDSS mission, and the orbital period was measured to be 1.42 h.
SDSS J0804 is thus a strong candidate of the SU UMa-type dwarf nova
(vsnet-alert 8874). The outburst was confirmed by J. Sheers at 13.13C mag
on Mar 5 (vsnet-alert 8876).
V5117 Sgr (RA = 17h58m52s.61, Dec = -36d47'35".1)
M. Fujii obtained a low-resolution spectrum of V5117 Sgr discovered
by Liller (IAUC 8673), and found that this nova belong to the Fe II
subclass (vsnet-alert 8875).
UZ For (RA = 03h35m28s.62, Dec = -25d44'22".3)
B. Monard reported that a polar, UZ For has brightened to 15.2CR mag
on Mar 5 (vsnet-alert 8878).
SDSS J155644.24-000950.2 (RA = 15h56m44s.24, Dec = -00d09'50".2)
H. Maehara found an outburst of this SU UMa-type dwarf nova at V=13.55
on Mar 3 (vsnet-outburst 6648). He performed time-series observations
and detected superhumps with amplitudes of 0.15mag. The data on Mar. 4
show the decline trend at a rate of 0.8 mag/day suggesting that the object
entered rapid fading stage (vsnet-campaign-dn 4589).
