Swift J1753.5-0127: Kyoto observation

    We performed preliminary period analysis of observations of 
this new X-ray transient, Swift J1753.5-0127, taken by the 
Kyoto team (observer: Imada & Kubota).  

    During 15 - 23 July, the object kept at almost constant 
magnitude.  A linear fitting yielded a slightly fading trend of 
0.01 mag/day.  While weather conditions were not good in several nights, 
nightly averaged data apparently show modulations with 
an amplitude of ~0.2mag and a period of about 4-5 days.  
We need more observations to confirm it.

    No significant short-term (a few hours - days) periodicity 
was detected.  

    The object keeps bright.  Follow-up time-series observations 
are encouraged.
