ASAS 1600-48 active

As reported by B. Monard in [vsnet-alert], this new SU UMa star is
very active. He kindly sent us his data sets for 8 days from 9-10 June.
We have done a preliminary analysis using them.

We found that this object may be a WZ Sge-type object; profiles
of superhumps were stable after 12-13 June, but dramatically changed during 9-11 June.
The average superhump period after 12 June is 0.064899(4) d.
With this period, the light curve on 9 June shows double-peak profile,
implying "early humps" which characterize WZ Sge stars.

It is known that outbursts of WZ Sge stars are very very rare,
and show interesting post-outburst activity (rebrightenings, etc...).
We recommend time-series observations for this object.
