The Quick Look data is one of the most useful things on the web for variable
star observers and researchers.
Just to be clear...I was not defaming the existence or usefulness of such
"invalidated" data.
CVnet would not be as useful ,or up to date, without the cooperation and
support of the AAVSO.

But, as Aaron noted, there are technical and non-trivial issues with the
data that make generating the CVnet Circular a time-consuming and
patience-stretching job. Chris has a real job and family to support, and his
efforts in this regard are also "non-trivial".

He also happens to be an integral part of the chart process, re: updating
the correction of errors on existing AAVSO charts. CHET is a tool completely
created by Chris, and has proved invaluable in prioritizing, correcting and
fixing over 200 chart errors since 2003.
