Dear colleagues,
Comet Barnard 2, originally discovered in 1889, was recovered on June
23 after 117 year blank.
Just before the recovery, it passed very near by Nova Sgr 2006 = V5117 Sgr
discovered in last February. The nova was observed on May 30 and June
19 recently by Kazuhiro Nakajima. No observation was reported around
the event due to the full moon.
