   According to "IAU Constellations" (1930), constellation boundaries
were adjusted to include some of already designated variable stars
as below.  I wonder why T Leo (and some others) were overlooked or
ignored.

At the suggestion of Mr Schlesinger, current President of the 
Notations Committee (no 3) of the Astronomical Union, Mr Delporte has 
taken on the responsibility for this rectification. Some parallels or 
meridians used by Gould have also had to be changed to include in 
their respective constellations the following variables: TV Ophiuchi, 
UW Ophiuchi, DG Aquilae, RR Normae, T Circini and U Tucanae. The 
modifications to the boundaries have been carried out without 
transposing any stars in Gould's Catalogue. Charts have also been 
prepared for the southern hemisphere.
