Izold Pustylnik has died today. That is a very sorrowful news for all of
us. Izold was seriously ill last months, but began to recover, and we had
many hopes. His death was unexpected and is very painful for everybody.

Izold Pustylnik belonged to the constellation of bright scientists, who had made a significant contribution to the astrophysics, namely, the science of interacting binary stars. He liked to joke in life, being an outstanding scientist, also contributing to popularization of Astronomy and working on history of Science. He was a gentle and intelligent person, who was a Teacher either in Science and Life.

The memory of Izold Bentsionovich Pustylnik will live in our hearts.
