I'm afraid the latest posting by John Greaves represents yet another example of a point I have made before. John seems to have zero tolerance of any viewpoint that differs from his own and so it was entirely predictable that he would personalise a generic question about discussion type material being posted to an alert group.

John made twenty posts in nine days all of which would have been entirely appropriate in a number of venues - just not within vsnet-alert!
