Dear all,
After a lot of delay caused by other projects, I have updated the eclipsing binary plan on my webpage:
http://ar.geocities.com/varsao/eclipsing_binaries_observing_plan.htm
140 unsolved confirmed or possible eclipsers with no period known are included. Southern and Northern. All
amplitudes, so good for both visual and CCD work.
As I go on with my eclipsers search an analysis based on ASAS, NSVS and Hipparcos data, some of the stars found can't be solved (or at least I am not able to solve them!!) with the number of eclipses available up to now. The goal is to find more eclipses so a period can be determined.
A lot have been solved over the years after new survey data became available but at least 10 of them were figured out using visual observations. A patient and accurate look at these systems might be worhtwhile.
Good observations,
Sebastian.
