   A new textbook for variable star observing has been published in Japan.
The author is the Japan Variable Stars Study Association, including
our familiar members Maehara-san, Nagai-san, Ohshima-san, Kiyota-san et al.
The title of the book would be translated as "Textbook for Astronomical
Observing: Variable Star Observation".

   Although the book is written in Japanese, I would recommend to have
a look at (and could someone potentially translate into other languages?)
this book, since it contains full of novel aspects of modern variable
star observing and research.
If you are learning Japanese, this book is hard to miss!
