Kyoto Mini-Workshop on Dwarf Novae and Related Systems
--- New Directions in Time-Series Analysis ---
29 Oct. 2013 --- 30 Oct. 2013
Kyoto University
Lecture room #2 in Graduate School of Science Bldg. No.2
The study of dwarf novae (DNe) has recently become quite intense and
diversified. The purpose of this mini-workshop is to discuss the recent
research topics of DNe, such as superhump surveys, Kepler light curves, and
application of the compressed sensing technique to the time-series analysis.
We have two special guests, Prof. Elena Pavlenko and Prof. Yoji Osaki,
who will give talks about their recent studies.
Most of the talks will be given by invited speakers.
Some time is, however, spared for contributed talks.
