[vsnet-chat 7891] GCVS makes depressing reading

The home page of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars (http://www.sai.msu.su/gcvs/gcvs/index.htm) makes fairly depressing reading.
There are peer reviewed papers published by the AAVSO from as long ago as 2009, that are also in Vizier, that GCVS has yet to process!
The 1 page list of "recent papers" on the GCVS site has papers that are ten years old.
Isn't it about time that this long running problem was resolved?
