First Announcement (slightly edited):

The Fourth International Workshop on AM CVn Stars will be held in Dallas, Texas, USA, during the week of 2016 March 14-18, hosted by Texas A&M University-Commerce. It will have been 4 years since our most recent meeting, so the meeting promises a great variety of new and exciting results. The goal of the workshop is to not only bring together those who actively work on AM CVn stars, but also to strengthen ties with researchs in related fields such as detached compact binaries, post common-envelope systems, and related theoretical and modeling results.

We plan to maintain the workshop format of previous meetings with talks in the mornings, time for breakout sessions in the early afternoon, and reconvening later in the afternoon for group discussions of topics of particular interest (please suggest topics for these to the SOC).

The venue for the meeting will be Universities Center at Dallas (UCD), which serves as a branch campus for A&M-Commerce. UCD is in the heart of downtown Dallas and public transportation (light rail) is available from the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) airport to UCD (see Local Information on the conference website for details). There will be a welcome reception on the evening of March 13th. The scientific program will begin Monday morning, and will conclude Friday at lunchtime.
