P Veres (UAH) reports on behalf of the Fermi GBM Team:

"The Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) trigger 494508549/160902479
at 11:29:05.39 UT on  2 September 2016, tentatively classified as a GRB,
was in fact not due to a GRB. This trigger is due to local particle
activity."
