The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
At 06:42:17 UT on 19 Dec 2017, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 171219A (trigger 535358542.07887 / 171219279).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 269.6, Dec = -18.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 58m, -18d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.7 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 19.0 degrees.
