on behalf of the Swift-BAT team:

Using the data from T-60 to T+120 sec from telemetry downlinks, we report
further analysis of Swift-BAT hard x-ray source J1626.6-5156 (trigger 173321)
(Krimm, et al., GCN 4361). The ground-analysis position is
RA,Dec 246.632,-51.945 {16h 26m 31.8s,-51d 56' 41.6"} (J2000)
with an uncertainty of 2.5 arcmin (radius, 90%, stat+sys).

The partial coding fraction is 30%. This source has been detected by BAT
22 times in the last 24 hours. It is higly variable ranging from 100 mCrab
to 1500 mCrab.

Fitting a simple power law over the full interval from T0 to T+64 sec,
the photon index is 3.3 +/- 0.6 (15-150 keV band at the 90% confidence level).

This location will come out of the Swift Sun observing contraint
on 09 Jan 2005.
