The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 23:50:44 UT on 5 May 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 200505A (trigger 610415449.084498 / 200505994).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 81.1, Dec = -49.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 05h 24m, -49d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.5 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 17.0 degrees.
