The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 04:14:15 UT on 18 Dec 2020, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 201218A (trigger 629957660.899176 / 201218177).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 286.9, Dec = 24.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 07m, 24d 11'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 95.0 degrees.
