E. Berger (Carnegie) reports:

"We imaged the location of GRB 061222b with LDSS3 on Magellan.  Within the 
XRT error circle we find a bright optical afterglow at:
 	RA = 07:01:24.6
 	DEC = -25:51:36
with an uncertainty of about 1".  Spectroscopic observations are in 
progress."
