All,
As of 14:00 UT 11 Jan 08, the words "transient" and "Transient" have been added
to the list of required words to appear in the Subject-line of submitted Circulars.
Given the odd nature of this object, these new words were needed.
Further Circular submissions on this object will not need to include "XRF"
which admittedly might well be misleading for this object. "Transient" is now
sufficient for submissions (on this object and future ojects) and is not
misleading.
As as background, the motivation for requiring one of these keywords to appear
in the Subject-line is to prevent spam from being distributed. This is one
of several spam prevention mechanisms. This set of mechanisms has been
very successful in that of the approximate 50,000 spams received per year
none have been distributed.
Sincerely,
