   While looking through the field of M51, I noticed the presence of
NSV06278, formerly classified as a possible nova.  Within positional
errors, there is a ROSAT source possibly related to this object.

   Has anyone monitored (or if not yet, a survey of past M51 images would
be meaningful) for the activity of this object?  Or there is a strong
argument against the association between the NSV object and the ROSAT
source?
