   According to Hatayama-san, the following object

  is optically variable (11.4C on 2008 Apr. 28 and 12.6C on Jun. 25).
(Hatayama-san's astrometry: 18 04 14.33, -27 19 28.0).

  The GCVS entry of V793 Sgr points to

GSC6850.1796 180414.36 -271906.2 (2000.0) 10.76 6 N
USNO0600.15022170 180414.336 -271906.42 (2000.0) 14.6 12.4 *
2MASS 180414.350 -271905.49 (2000.0) 9.701 9.165 9.056 

  , which does not strongly vary (ASAS-3).

  The former object, detected by Hatayama-san, looks like to be
a better candidate for the true V793 Sgr.
