AF Cyg bright

   Several observers have independently pointed out that the SR-star AF Cyg
is atypically bright.  The most recent observation being:

CYGAF 050627.878  6.5        DPV       6.26-2V1-6.60
CYGAF          20050629.576    66  Tha.VSOLJ

   Although this magnitude is within the known range of variability, the
object has reached its brightest level in recent years.  This may suggest
a phase of a maximum pulsation amplitude, or a maximum of a longer-term
secondary modulation.
