Dear colleagues,
Outburst of an UG-type cataclysmic variable AF Cam was detected on
Feb. 12 in the course of the MISAO Project.
AF Cam 03h32m15s.5 +58o47'22" Mag(max):13.4 Mag(min):17.6
MagSystem:p Type:UG Period:(74.9)
Here is our data in VSNET format:

There are several survey images between 1999 and 2002 in the MISAO
Project database. However, AF Cam had never been brighter than 16.5
mag before.
Following observations were reported to VSOLJ:
2007 Jan. 11 15h10m(UT) <14.1 Mdy
2007 Jan. 17 14h54m(UT) <13.7 Mdy
2007 Feb. 12 14h02m(UT) <14.1 Mdy
Yutaka Maeda reported it as "not seen" on Feb. 12, just on the same
day when Nobuo Ohkura and Youichirou Nakashima detected its outburst.
P.S.
It is too late to report, so I do not post it to vsnet-alert.
Best regards,
