Notes: The field was imaged on two 15 sec-exposures using Canon EOS 400D
   (at ISO 800) and a 17-55mm zoom lens set at f=17mm f/4. The comparison
   star 'B' (HD 187751, V = 7.17) was visible on both images, the nova
   and comparison star 'C' (HD 187958, V = 7.81) were not detected. These
   images were made before discovery announcement.
