The RXTE X-ray lightcurve of Eta Car through Sep 29 is available at

I've attached an overplot of the 3 cycles, emphasizing the pre-minimum  
phase.  The current cycle shows a remarkably smooth recent variation.   
The next few weeks should be interesting!
