The RXTE X-ray lightcurve of Eta Car through Dec 22 is available at

the net rate from the processed data for Dec 20 is lower than the net  
rate from the quicklook data for that date (see attached plot) moving  
the maximum of that flare to Dec 22 (or maybe sometime before)
