Hello, I have been following sn2011fe closely via the Slooh telescope
in Teide
Tenerife. Got some good shots, especially quality close ups of this
SN over the weeks.
Sadly at the moment we cant glimpse it from the Canary Islands as
it has set before twilight. I have enjoyed seeing it change over
the days. It certainly has increased in size but I noticed on one
of the close ups under High magnification and then zoomed up in a
graphics app that it had gone down again slightly in its size.
I have done some tweaking with a set of 5 close up images I took
spaced out over the
weeks I notice actually a very fade gas cloud-like anomaly around
the SN ... in fact on the last image of it on approx Sep 27th it
was in a unique shape surrounding it. I'm pretty certain this is
not artifacts or pixels from the image editing or CCD equipment
because its not prominent on the other shots.
Some of the images are spoilt slightly with them being taken when
the moon was nearly full to being full and in the sky, but its
useful data I would presume.
Therefore as I see you doing work on this I would like to offer my
images to you for your work. I hope they are useful.
I have zipped the entire set with information on the scope, CCD
equipment usedetc.

Let me know your thoughts
Kind regards
Jay
