Subject: [baavss-alert] R Sct and Rho Cas
Imaged both this morning, Rho Cas being easier than I thought.
R Sct was definitely faint, and probably below 8.m0, confirming John's
visual observation. Certainly the faintest I have seen it in many years. Rho
Cas is confirmed brighter than Sigma Cas, and could be anywhere between 4m.4
and 4m.6.
Subsequently I looked at V 465 Cas, VV Cep, Mu Cep, DM Cep, EG And and Chi
Cyg. Chi Cyg is still bright, but now fainter than Eta Cyg.
Best wishes,
Colin.
