[vsnet-obs 82014] [SN]Â [MEAS]Â SN2016bam

Hi -
 
    It has come to my attention that the SN 2016 bam in NGC  2444 was 
discovered on March 7, 2016. I took this image of NGC 2444 on January  2, 2016 
(January 3, 2016 UT) which is attached. On the website, I've seen two  
pre-discover images that were taken on February 14th and 15th, 2016 by  Kunihiro 
Shima and the SN 2016bam was already brighten up. 
 
    According to my image on (January 3rd, 2016 UT), no SN  was seen yet. 
However, a closer look might show a very faint star in that  location. I'm 
just wondering if that might be an early indication of the SN  2016bam. 
Otherwise, it erupted sometimes after my image January 3rd, 2016 UT  until it was 
seen on February 14th, 2016 UT.  
 
    Another note. Who usually post the images on the SN  website?
