Dear Astronomers,

my name is Markus Kohl. I´m teacher at the “Staatliche Realschule Hauzenberg” (Bavaria, Germany) and hobby astronomer. Now almost 30 years I´m a member of the “Sternwarte am Gymnasium Untergriesbach” (www.swgu.de)
I woke up early on 2020 02 25 to take some pictures of the SN 2020ue in NGC 4636.

I also tried to achieve a spectrum, using a “Star Analyser 100”, adapted to a Skywatcher Esprit 150 APO f/7 with an ZWO ASI 071 pro camera. Exposure-time 60x30s (visual) 60x30s (spectrum)

m= 11,6  11,8mag (two Ref-stars)

Dist. of NGC 4636.: 42 000 000 Lj. (in assumption of M = 19.0)

Doppler-shift z = - 0,03 (Si II)

Expansion – velocity: about 9500km/s (Doppler)

typical high saturation in Blue (Fitswork)

negative (?) Progenitor-Test (overlay in Aladin v9.0)



Maybe my amateur – facts ar useful in some way.
