[vsnet-outburst 11779] GX Cas: rapid fading

GX Cas: rapid fading

   Okayama U. of Sci. team has reported new observations.  The object
has entered its rapid decline phase.  The object seems to show
a signature of the orbital period during the fading phase and 1-d
preceding the fading.  The strongest signal was at 0.0892(3) d.
This superposition of orbital signals may have been a cause of
the rather unusual period evolution.  Further detailed analysis is
in progress.
