[vsnet-outburst 12918] NY Her: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova

   Forwarded message.  The object appears to be an active SU UMa-type
dwarf nova resembling SS UMi or BF Ara.  Continued observations are
encouraged.  Even if the outburst is over, nightly snapshot observations
will be important.

Subject: NY Her - superumping

Uncalibrated photometry of NY Her clearly shows superhumps.

Casual visual inspection shows a period of 0.077 day, and amplitude of 
0.25 mag.

NY Her is currently approx mag 15.8 unfiltered.
