Re: ASASSN-15cy
The superhump period of 0.05053 d appears to be too
short for an ordinary hydrogen-rich CV. The superhump
amplitude of 0.3 mag also appears to be too large
for a low-q object. An analysis of the early observations
(by B. Monard) suggests a period of 0.04932(5) d, which
may be the orbital period. The object may be
an EI Psc-type object. Further observations are
strongly encouraged. Kiyota-san also reported observations
when superhumps may have been emerging.
