[vsnet-outburst 18653] MASTER OT J181523.78+692037.4 is a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova

Dear colleagues,
 
Last night (2015, Sep 01/02), I have been doing unfiltered CCD photometry of MASTER OT J181523.78+692037.4. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory,  using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under clear skies with broken clouds and moonlight. The resulting combined light curve clearly shows the presence of superhumps, establishing this target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The amplitude is approx 0.4 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined period of 0.0581 +/- 0.0003d. MASTER OT J181523.78+692037.4 was at unfiltered mag 16.7 on Sep 01st. 

Follow-up observations are evidently encouraged.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
