NSV 1440: stage B superhumps?

Berto Monard has reported new observations.
The period on Nov. 30-Dec. 1 was 0.02529(2) d,
shorter than the previous superhump period.
This shorter period would suggests stage B superhumps.
The period, however, is very close to that of
the double-wave modulations before the dip.
(Superhumps with a period almost equal to
the orbital period?)
The same situation was recorded in SDSS J090221.35+381941.9
(PASJ 66, L7). This phenomenon can be understood
as a combination of the pressure effect and
a very small q, as in AM CVn-type objects.
Further observations are strongly encouraged.
