LSPM J03338+3320: rise to superoutburst and stage A superhumps
Enrique de Miguel, Colin Littlefield and Maeda-san
have reported new observations. The object is now
rising to a full superoutburst (de Miguel's observation).
Growing superhumps on the ascending branch have been
also observed. All superhumps since the outburst
detection can be well expressed by a period of
0.07076(3) d. This superoutburst has demonstrated
(far better than ever) that stage A superhumps develop
during the precursor outburst and continue during
the "gap" between the precursor and main superoutburst.
This gives another support to the thermal-tidal
disk-instability model (such a phenomenon was not recorded
in Kepler CVs).
The resultant q value is 0.177 (very well established).
