MisV1448: even longer period!
Thanks to observations by Itoh-san, two adjacent
superhump maxima were caught (after combining with
Tordai's earlier observations). The superhump period
is now around 0.22 d. An O-C analysis suggest that
The period of stage A is 0.237(1) d and that of stage B
is 0.2275(3) d. The alias problem appears to
have been solved. The longitudinal coverage is still
restricted to Japan-eastern Europe and observers
at other longitudes are very welcomed to join
this campaign.
The orbital period (suggested by Monard's observation)
needs to be re-determined by newer observations.
The period is close to the orbital period of 0.24315(10) d
for ASASSN-14ho, which has been suggested to have mimicked
the WZ Sge-type behavior showing multiple rebrightenings.
