Spectroscopic and Photometric classification of the transient ASAS-SN 20om as a nova

We reported our spectroscopic and photometric follow-up observations of
the transient in M31 to Atel:

Our spectrum suggests that this object is a bright classical nova.
Follow-up observations are encouraged!
