Dear all,

This requires confirmation, but it might be that M31N 2008-12a is in outburst. I have two sets of images of this evening (2020, Oct 30/31) on which there's a suspected object at the location of M31N 2008-12a. The first set of images consists of 3 * 180s unfiltered exposures centered around Oct 30.86 UT. The second set of images consists of 6 * 180s unfiltered exposures centered around Oct 31.07 UT. All images were obtained at CBA Extremadura Observatory using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and SX-46 CCD camera.

All images were impacted by the strong moonlight, so as mentioned before, this needs confirmation. In particular, the first (stacked) image set is highly unsecure.

Below are the two screenshots of the stacked images. The left one is Oct 30.86 UT, the right one is Oct 31.07 (suspected object seems to have brightened)

Best regards
Tonny
