ASASSN-18do: WZ Sge-type dwarf nova with prominent early superhumps
Tonny Vanmunster, Itoh-san and Tamas Tordai have reported
observations. The object shows very prominent double-wave
early superhumps (mean amplitude exceeds 0.5 mag!).
The primary minimum appears to have sharp edges,
suggesting that a part of the disk may be eclipsed.
Such a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova with strong early superhumps
(and potential eclipses) is very rare. The object is
also well located (for northern observers) to make
long nightly continuous observations. Further observations
are encouraged, including multicolor (V and I, add B if
possible) time-series ones to model the disk structure.
