Dear colleagues,
I just finished analysing my unfiltered CCD observations of:
- ASASSN-18qo obtained at CBA Extremadura Observatory on 2018 Aug 02/03 (clear sky)
- AT 2018emz obtained at CBA Extremadura Observatory on 2018 Aug 04/05 and 05/06 (clear skies)
- ASASSN-13bs obtained at CBA Belgium Observatory on 2018 Aug 05/06 (broken clouds)
The light curves of these 3 objects clearly show superhump like modulations, hence establishing them as likely SU UMa-type dwarf novae. ASASSN-18qo meanwhile has been confirmed as UGSU (see vsnet reports). I have insufficient observations to securely determine the nature of the two other objects, although their SU UMa-type classification is very likely. AT 2018emz was at mag 16.3 (CV) on Aug 6th and showed a 0.27 mag modulation. ASASSN-13bs was at mag 16.9 (CV) on Aug 6th and showed a 0.39 mag modulation.
Observations will be sent to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
Best regards
Tonny
